Request removal from the index
Sindex harvests metadata (title, authors, year, DOI, abstract) from open repositories via OAI-PMH and from open databases (OpenAlex, Crossref). We do not host full texts of third-party journals — only a link to the source.
If you are the rights holder and do not want your journal or a particular article in the index, send a request below. We reply within 5 working days.
What happens next
- We verify that the request comes from the rights holder;
- the journal and all its records are removed from pages, search, the sitemap and our OAI interface;
- records are not deleted from the database: an audit trail remains, and indexing can be restored at your request;
- you receive a confirmation email.
