This article analyzes the methodological foundations of teaching phonetics in secondary schools and its significance in developing students' communicative competence. It explores methods of interdisciplinary integration and practical assignments regarding sound-letter relationships, accentuation, syllabification, and the use of the apostrophe. The article aims to enhance students' orthographic literacy and oral speech culture.
