Аннотация
This article analyzes the psychological characteristics of developing the professional training and competence of history students in higher education institutions. It examines the psychological factors that contribute to the development of students' professional motivation, historical thinking, critical thinking, communicative competence, and reflective abilities. The study also presents scientific conclusions and practical recommendations for creating effective pedagogical and psychological conditions for training future historians based on the competency-based approach.
