This article analyses the scientific and methodological foundations for integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies with the HEMIS information system in assessing students’ independent learning outcomes in mathematical disciplines at higher education institutions. According to a pedagogical experiment involving 84 students of the Physics Education programme at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, the AI-integrated assessment model increased assessment accuracy by 22% compared with the traditional approach.
