Abstract
The article is explained to the linguistic and cultural analysis of phraseological units with a gastronomic component based on English language materials. Phraseology as a science is an area of linguistics. However, although the systematic study of phraseological units, which are these special units of language, has begun relatively recently, so far many works have been written on the subject of phraseology. However, they cannot be said that all the problems related to phraseology have been solved. Therefore, the study of this area of language has not lost its relevance and seems to be theoretically and practically important and necessary.
